Lauri,

please add a bug report in bugzilla. Best would be if you attach your
search code/plug-in to that bug report. The problem is most likely caused
by the amount of matches and not by a bug in your code.

If your search operation isn't a WorkspaceModifyOperation already then
changing your code in that area will help.
