We also have two
repository reports in each build that allows to verify things:
Feature
versions compared to reference repository
Bundle
versions compared to reference repository
Like the mojo
mentioned before, they only verify that it got increased (or not decreased).
They will not check for '100' because there are cases where one has to
choose another number.

Hi,
At
platform we use tycho plugin compare-version-with-baselines (https://www.eclipse.org/tycho/sitedocs-extras/tycho-p2-extras-plugin/compare-version-with-baselines-mojo.html).
This checks if there are changes in the plugin after the last baseline.
If there are changes and the version is not incremented the gerrit build
fails.
Thanks
and Regards,

Subject: [platform-releng-dev] Automatic check for service increment
increase by 100
Hi
folks,
Does
the platform have any tooling / CI check that verifies service segment
is incremented by/to 100 on new branches according to https://wiki.eclipse.org/Version_Numbering#When_to_change_the_service_segment?
CDT
has properly adopted the version numbering recently, but the 100 aspect
of the service segment bumps is regularly missed, so I was curious what
platform did in this regard?
Thanks,
Jonah
