I think Bug 518031 - XML External Entity Vulnerability in Eclipse IDE is the culprit here. The changes are in org.eclipse.equinox.p2, which is included in org.eclipse.equinox.server.p2.feature and this in turn included in org.eclipse.equinox.serverside.sdk.feature.

 

The error we are encountering is from org.eclipse.equinox.serverside.sdk.feature. Since there are no changes in its included plugins Tycho is assuming there are no changes and it is replacing the built feature bundle with baseline(this should not have happened).

 

The simple solution here is touch org.eclipse.equinox.serverside.sdk.feature. But there are couple of problems here with Tycho. I will investigate those and raise appropriate bugs against tycho.

 

I am restarting the build now

FYI, the BETA_JUNIT5 branches were merged on September 3 - Bug 521750.

The previous two I-builds were already failing.

Hi,

The builds started failing after the merge of BETA_JUNIT5 branch. I am still to identify the exact reason. I am currently investigating the root cause.

Raised Bug 521792 - I-builds are failing from September 1 2017 to address this issue
