I just suggested that because you said that triggering a new N-Build is generally too much work to be worth it, whereas this job is just clicking on an icon, so it may be a good complement to current automated builds. and it might be confusing to get error messages from both?The big benefit of this one is that it's easy to run and we can even configure it so that any platform contributor can kick a build if they want (actually, maybe it's already how it's configured). About confusion, then it would indeed produce additional notifications, but Hudson only sends mails when there is a failure, so in an ideal world, it would send few notifications. Cheers, |
