Re: [platform-releng-dev] Need to spin a 4.4.1 RC4 (Luna SR1) build - scheduled for 9 AM (Eastern)

I will open a bug later in the day for PDE and Equinox to formally "sign-off" on RC4, but don't believe whole team needs to re-test (though, of course, anyone is welcome to).

The Equinox bugs have been reviewed.  We are ready for the respin.

I think a sign off from equinox and PDE is required here.  I'm still waiting to get with BJ Hargrave to review.  Unfortunately he is travelling this week, but I should be able to get with him early tomorrow.

For the record, I have not yet scheduled this re-build for RC4. I think one of the bugs is still waiting for technical review and would prefer not to "jump the gun". Even though, I'm confident the fix is needed and probably correct -- there are some occasions I am a stickler for detail.  But am happy to schedule for any time, once reviewed and/or PMC says "go".

Also, Tom, can you say if these two fixes deserve a "test pass" of any sort? I'd assume not full team, but ... just wanted to be explicit if any other teams should formally "sign off" once the build is done?  (Naturally, anyone can test, if they want to, I'm just curious if it should be explicit for "equinox and pde" or ... ?

I will plan on that, assuming all reviews and approvals finish by then (and FYI, last I heard, the PMC wanted an e-mail sent to (the Eclipse) PMC list ... mostly for maximal visibility, I believe, and to be sure requests were not lost ... even though I know there are some PMC members already CC'd on those bugs).

The Equinox team would like to request a 4.4.1 RC4 build to address the following bugs:

I have released the fixes already and also am doing some extra review with another committer.  We should have the review complete for a build tomorrow.  Could we get one schedule for the regular Wednesday time for the M-Build?
