[platform-releng-dev] Howto use new directory.txt?

Now that the build is cbi based (congrats!), what is the recommended way for finding out, what exact versions were used for the build?

The directory.txt used to tell me for each plug-in from which tag it was built. Now that file only specifies a commit id within eclipse.platform.releng.aggregator.git.
Where to go from there?

The reason I'm asking is: for  the Object Teams build I used to scan the directory.txt and copy relevant lines into my own map file.
This is relevant for test plug-ins (some of our tests have dependencies to tests from jdt et al), which are not found in any downloadable file but have to be fetched from git.
For this fetching I need to know what tag I should pull. Any hints?
