In addition to Bug 379493 for 4.2,
the PMC has requested a rebuild for
bug 382103, which will require a rebuild of 3.8 and 4.2. 

I will schedule a rebuild for 12:00
noon (Eastern) for 3.8
The 4.2 rebuild will be scheduled to
start at 2:00 PM (Eastern)

This means the final builds/update sites
won't be available until 5 or 6 PM (Eastern) and the unit tests (for 4.2)
won't be complete until Saturday. 

The changes are such that it should
change no platform functionality so no one is required to retest, and John
has kindly offered to check unit tests results on Saturday to confirm nothing
"really weird" happened. 

I will double check that everything
got signed, packed, etc,

Even if everyone sign's off by 5 PM
based on current candidates (and please do, if you are able and comfortable
doing so), I will wait until Saturday afternoon to "declare"
RC4 (after unit tests complete), so, will also notify cross-project list
we will be a bit late with our +0 contribution.

pick this up: 

Bug 379493 - Some 4.2. features and its feature branding plug-ins have
