When working with one of my workspaces I did notice that the 3.7 branch was checked out, so I suspect the second issue occurred (though I haven't worked with the 3.7 branch in a while).  However, Winnipeg had a network outage yesterday preventing checkouts and pulls from completing successfully (or viewing the status of the build).  I am currently on my way to the office.  If the network is still down, I will head home and try to fix things up from there.  If someone with PDE commit rights has the opportunity to revert the map file and retag, that would be most welcome.

DJ ran into this issue with Equinox. Using the tagging scripts on the e4 wiki (http://wiki.eclipse.org/E4/Git) to tag the maintenance stream will result in the vYYYYMMDD-time type tags. If using these scripts for the maintenance stream you should probably modify it to insert some chars for R37x.

I suspect this is what may have happened to the PDE team. The other thing that may have happened is they tagged for the I-Build when having the wrong branch checked out. We have also experienced that when tagging p2 for the I-Build ;-)

Not good!

The 'pde.map' file contains tag 'v20110928-1516' which sits on the
'R3_7_maintenance' branch instead of on 'master'. Also, looking at the
'R3_7_maintenance' branch (
http://git.eclipse.org/c/pde/eclipse.pde.ui.git/?h=R3_7_maintenance) there
are several unexpected tags (those not ending with "_r371"). This looks
fishy. Either someone tags off the wrong branch or is using scripts that
don't work as they should.
