I'm not sure you reran the right tests.
The org.eclipse.jdt.ui.tests.refactoring tests didn't report any failures.

is the sysout for our DNF test suite,
and that file just ends abruptly.

I now saw this in macosx.cocoa_consolelog.txt:

137

AFAIK, this means the process got the
kill -9 signal.

However, I think this was just a one-time
hiccup. In M20110629-0800 and N20110629-2000, the tests passed, and our
plug-ins didn't change.

Sorry, I actually reran the tests for
a different build.  The logs for this tests are available here

I didn't find any crash logs and the same failures occurred when I reran
the tests.

macosx  tests and they passed.

The tests did not finish (DNF), but the consolelog doesn't show a normal
timeout.
Looks like the VM crashed:
[junitreport] the file 
/Users/ibmemployee/buildtest/I20110628-0800/eclipse-testing/test-eclipse/eclipse/org.eclipse.jdt.ui.tests.refactoring.all.AllAllRefactoringTests.xml
is empty.
[junitreport] This can be caused by the test JVM exiting unexpectedly

Kim, can you please see if there are crash logs on the test machine and
then rerun the tests?
