Jeff,

The problem existed ever since this
bug was first fixed.  There are two issues
1) The product build is generating new
PDE build bundle with a compile error that is mirrored to the repository
instead of using the binary bundle built as part of the master feature.
2) The compile error wasn't being picked
up by the build because it parsed the compile logs before the pde build
product was being built.  The pde build product is created after the
other products because one of its dependencies is a nested jar extracted
from the jdt.core bundle.  This nested jar must be extracted from
the regular bundle and mirrored to the repo as a separate step.

I've changed the build so that the compile
errors are checked at a later state in the build.  The product build
is pointing to the same build directory as the regular build which is causing
compile errors and of course Ant properties are immutable so I have to
change invoke it is a separate process etc.   It was easier to revert
this today and I'll look at fixing this next week.

Fair enough.  What changed in the PDE features/products
that is causing these failures? I'm happy to help fix them if you can point
me at the problem.

There were actually compile errors in this build, which for some reason
are not reported in the build results.

The PDE/Build test failures are a real problem.  I don't know what
is wrong yet, nothing has changed in PDE/Build.
