The ui issues on the test machines were
caused by a new sysadmin applying patches via remote desktop and locking
the display.

He has been kindly asked not to do that
again as it interferes with our tests.

The UI test failures are caused by another application
(or
screensaver) that ran at the same time as the tests. We haven't made
any changes in that area so the build is still good from a Platform UI
perspective.
