Re: [platform-releng-dev] builds are slow


Given builds are slow, does it still make sense to have them kicking every 5 hours ?
Feels like we are shooting in the dark. Shouldn't we space them better, so that we know the state of previous build ?

Kim - any clue as to when the bandwith could be restored ?

I'm sure many of you will have noticed that the builds are very slow today. The 8am build is still not complete.  The root cause is that our building's bandwidth is at full utilization again.  As I mentioned before, I've opened a bug with our network team to implement QoS or load balancing to alleviate this problem.
