Sadly and with embarrassment, JDT APT would like to contribute a fix for https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=224750 .  I've sent separate email requesting PMC approval, and will wait for that approval before releasing map files.

Please do not contribute to M6 without PMC approval. We 
are trying to resolve build engine issues, and more changes would only 
jeopardize our chances for success.
Kim and DJ are trying to get the build 
engine back on rails, and until they succeed, there is nothing to assess.
