[platform-releng-dev] 3.1 Milestone 4 build schedule

Snow on the ground, bright colourful
lights glowing at night, that special time of the year is fast approaching
... Milestone week.

Monday Dec 13 08:00 EST - 3.1 M4 Warm-up build 
- this is just a warm up 
- rebuilds will only be run if there are compile errors, missing plug-ins
or the build is unusable.  (Same as the integration build rebuild
policy) 

Tuesday, Dec 14 - 3.1 M4 Test Candidate build
- 3.1 M4 build toward Test candidate at 12:10 am, 8 am, noon, 4 pm, and
8 pm builds if map files are updated 
- Midnight Integration builds will be in lieu of the nightly builds on
Tuesday and Thursday. 
- goal: a good build for the test pass on Wednesday
-The last chance to submit to the test candidate will be the Tuesday 8pm
build

Wednesday, Dec 15 (all day) - 3.1 M4 Test pass 
  - intensive 1-day test pass on 3.1 M4 candidate 

Thursday, Dec 16 - Build toward Milestone candidate 
-3.1 M4 build toward Milestone candidate with 12:10 am, 8 am, noon, 4 pm,
and 8 pm builds if map files are updated 
- for a rebuild, only team(s) requesting the rebuild need to recheck and
sign off (although they may request other teams to revalidate potentially
affected functionality) 
- goal: a milestone candidate for Friday 

Friday, Dec 17
-Final sanity check, all teams sign off, 3.1 M4 is released.

Please note that performance tests will
only be run on the first build of the day due to the time that they take
to complete.
