I'm using HP-UX.There are no messages mentioned /displayed. Just the mouse
shows a busy signal for few seconds
without opening anything. Also there are no exceptions occuring and no
generation of the log file.

A little more information might help, like what flavour of UNIX? Are
there any messages displayed when you go to Help -> Help Contents? Is
there anything in the log?
