[platform-help-dev] Standalone help with standalone content

****************************************************************************
*
Somebody had asked the following question:
****************************************************************************
*

I followed the instructions of the "Installing the stand-alone help system"
page.

Now I have a help in my application, but it contains the "Workbench User
Guide".
I don't want to show my users this help about the workbench. I'd like to
have my own contents in my own standalone help.
How can I do this? I there any tutorial or article about it?

And he received the following reply:

Yes, the instructions on how to do this is in the Plug-in Developer's Guide.

But, in short, search every plugin.xml file in the plugins subfolders for
the words primary="true". Any doc plugins that you don't want to appear
should say primary="false". Likewise, make sure _your_ plugin is
primary="true". ;-)

I have read/done all that and I still have the same issue. To further
aloborate:

I am able to see my "help book" in Eclipse IDE help but not in
standalone help.

I would like to know what is the critical difference between "Eclipse IDE
help" and "standalone help".

Am I expected to write/modify some java program or some .xml file?

Where is it documented?

The above answer does not point me to a specific page and I believe I have
read everything I could lay my hands on!!

Thanx, Anil.

P.S. Please we descriptive. A short answer may say everything to you (like
the one above) but may lack the critical link for outsiders like me.
