Re: [platform-help-dev] Standalone Help, part 2
|
Wendy,
F1 functionality will be available in standalone help, but implemented
slightly different than in eclipse. You will be getting the entire help
view, with the Links page selected and displaying the related links
associated with the context id specified.
Documentation is not complete yet, but take a look at the link from a
previous message on this mailing list:

If you are reasonably familiar with eclipse and the eclipse help system,
you can probably make sense of the quick write-up on how to install
standalone help at
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/platform-help-home/standalone.html
.

Brian,
All the three usage scenarios should work in the latest integration build
(20020412).
For infocenter installs, take a look at
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/platform-help-home/infocenter.html
.
Documentation is minimal, but should get you going.
The standalone doc will be available soon.

Will the F1 functionality be available in the standalone help
implementation (for java applications)?
