The CVS compression level is the culprit here: I now disabling it works. I
updated the PR.

Dani I managed to check out no problem this morning by doing a Replace
with HEAD.

The project contains the corrupt file:
"org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/images/Image3_singel.gif" which causes
fatal
error upon checkout, update and replace. Do not try to discard the project
and check out again: you will no longer be able to get the project back.
Instead, manually update/replace the folders and files except the
corrupted
file.
