Hi,

I am about to release [1]. Only Dani is in the CC list of bug [2] so, therefore, this announcement.

"This patch restores the symmetry between viewpart.init and viewpart.persistState. Currently, the former method is called when the user opens the view but the latter method is not called when the user closes the view. Viewpart.persistState is called when the workbench closes and periodically on workbench save intervals."
