[platform-dev] Cutting and Pasting

Hello All,

 

I am using Eclipse 2.1 Windows XP, J21.4.0 , and having trouble with the clipboard. I am unable to cut and paste text from any sort of file java or xml or anything. I am also unable to copy and paste .java files. I have RC3 and 2K at work and they all work fine. Anybody else encountered this ?

 

I get the following error when i try to copy "Problem Copying to Clipboard" - There was a problem when accessing the system clipboard. Retry?

and ofcourse retry doesn't work

 

am attaching a screenshot. of the error dialog, this happens when i select a .java file and select "Copy"
