[platform-dev] Can Eclipse be run on Mac OSX

I am trying to run the eclipse Motif buiild R1 on Mac OSX 10.1.2
If anybody has done this or has tips (it starts then crashed saying the
swt synchronizer class cannot be found)
I would appreciate any help...
