Darin,

I applied the patch to get a preliminary look. Unless I'm missing 
something, but the core infrastructure alone doesn't really expose 
the feature and thus doesn't give us a sense of its usability. We can 
rely on the descriptions on your wiki page, but it would be nice to 
see the feature "in action". Could you provide a patch that contains 
the test vehicle you used during development?
