We are interested in developing and contributing this
feature. It overlaps with our need for multi-context support in the debugger
views within the 3.3 timeframe. I don't (yet) have any educated questions to ask
about implementation, but I wonder if you have had any more thoughts than
those outlined in the Views-Pin-and-clone.html document?

For those interested in view pin
& clone support, The debug
community has expressed interest in a view "pin & clone" feature. Currently,
due to our feature prioritization and development resources, the debug platform
team is not planning to implement this feature for the 3.3 release. Our team has
put some initial work into the design of the feature, which can be found

If any community members would like to
implement the feature, we are willing to help review and integrate the feature
as a contribution - whether it lives in the DSDP project or eventually ends up
