[platform-debug-dev] Debug/Ant M8 Fix Pass

We are investigating fixes to the following bugs for M8:

* This one is under investigation, and may not require a fix for M8. It 
could be that this is not a regression, but we want to at least understand 
what is causing the problem here. Kevin is working on this one.

* Need to determine if there is a regression here. Luc will work on this 
one.

* Need to fix this for M8 - Darin (W) will work on this one. I have a fix 
in hand, but it may not be the final solution we want for 3.0.

* Looks like it should be a simple fix. Luc will work on this one.

Others, please continue testing Debug/Ant components. Tackle any areas 
that you did not test yesterday. We want to ensure that there are no other 
critical problems lurking in M8.
