[platform-debug-dev] Using Debug Option with JRE 1.3.0:04

Hi,
I am trying to run eclipse version 2.0.1 in debug mode using JRE 1.3.0_04,
but when I run eclipse I get the following warning:

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Setting of property "java.compiler" is
ignored

If I change the JRE and use the 1.4.0._02 I can run eclipse in debug mode.
It is posible to run eclipse 2.0.1 in debug mode using JRE 1.3.0_04?
Could I install some patch or newest version of eclipse to do that?
