Hi Varun,
This mailing list is intended to be used only by CVS devs.
I think it would be better, if you raised a bug against this issue.
Try here
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Platform&component=CVS
When the bug is raised, we can continue investigation there.

[platform-cvs-dev] Too many files
for CVS and Eclipse crashes

Please respond to
"Eclipse CVS
Integration
developers list."
<platform-cvs-dev
@eclipse.org>
Hi,
I am having a strange problem. I have a project which I want to be
shared to CVS. I am using Eclipse 3.3 to share the project.
I have around 120,000 files in my workspace and whole workspace is around
4GB.
Everytime I try to share, my CPU usage goes to full and eclipse
crashes. I mean after waiting hours, nothing happens :(
Is there any limitation on the number files that can be shared, etc?
wil be thankful for your replies.
Varun
