Given that 3.3.1 has just shipped, there's no possibility of getting it in
3.3.1. If having in 3.3.2 would be beneficial for someone, then they are
free to enter a request for it. It turns out the the current version that
ships with 3.4M2 doesn't have any 3.4 dependencies so it could be placed in
a 3.3 build without any problems.

It seems that fix has been already included in 3.4M1.
Michael, how about the possibility to update it in
the 3.3 maintenance releases?
