The Eclipse Team architecture requires
that projects be shared from the project root. The only workaround I can
suggest is to improt the lined folder as a top level project as well. You
should then be able to perform CVS operations on the top level project.

Subject
[platform-cvs-dev] Partially shared
project?
Hi,
I wanted to know if the current (as of Eclipse Europa)
eclipse cvs plugin (1.0.0v20070606) is able
to handle a project for which only
a specific folder comes from a CVS checkout.
More specically I have a (CDT) project which is not
the result of a checkout but for which
I have a link resource (Folder Type) which is the
result of a checkout (done on command line not in Eclipse).
The problem I have is that I am not able to
activate the full Eclipse Team menu on the folder.
It seems to be considered as a "normal" folder
and not a CVS handled folder.
I don't want to "share" the whole project with CVS
but only the specific folder.
What can I do?
