Chris,
Can you expand on what you mean by "Eclipse instance has ever been attached
to
ChangeMan", is this just the Serena plugins being installed or you have
actually mapped your Eclipse projects to ChangeMan repository?
Regardless, it is highly unlikely the plugins can interfere in the manner
you describe assuming you're using one of the more recent Eclipse versions
(3.0.x+). There are no interdependencies between CVS and ChangeMan plugins.
Now, having said that sometimes strange things happen, perhaps there is
something interesting in the .log file? I was able to successfully use CVS
and Serena plugins simultaneously in the past.
Regards,
Vladimir.

Subject: [platform-cvs-dev] Can't connect to CVS after using ChangeMan
forSCM
I have been using ChangeMan DS for SCM operations on Eclipse (WSAD) for
a number of years but we are now changing to use CVS.
The problem is that once an Eclipse instance has ever been attached to
ChangeMan the CVS Repository Explorer will no longer expand the HEAD,
Branches, or Versions tree items for a CVS repository.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
I have lost days and days trying to figure out a work around on this.
Thanks,
Chris Elvart
