I have played around with this repository
and it looks good to me. I scanned through the 10+ years of history on
several projects and it looks reasonable. I think we could clean it up
even more by deleting many of the old experimental branches, but at 13MB
the size is already quite small.

Platform runtime committers, please
DO NOT COMMIT TO CVS at this point. We should consider this to be the live
Git repository going forward.

I've created a repo at git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/platform/eclipse.platform.runtime.git

Please verify that it looks as you would expect.  It contains the
above mentioned Platform Runtime bundles plus a number of Eclipse4 core
bundles that graduated in R4.0.  I only conditioned the core.runtime
CVS repo for 3.7, 3.6, 3.5, and 3.4.

Please treat it as a live repository of Platform Runtime.  I have
not updated the Juno or 3.7.1 map files yet, but hope to over the next
few days.
