An RCP client could certainly choose
to manage the log file in any way that it wants.  The file location
can be accessed via IPlatform.getLogFileLocation().toFile().  Apart
from that, there is no API for manipulating the log file (not really needed
since it's just a file).  I wouldn't think an RCP application would
have an error log view anyway.
