Re: [platform-core-dev] Removing: org.eclipse.core.target and org.eclipse.ant.ui

Just a note, in today's build the target management is "turned off" since
it wasn't in solid enough shape for extensive community testing. For those
who are curious, it can be enabled by copying org.eclipse.team.webdav
plugin.xml.off to plugin.xml.

New target management code is available in the latest integration builds
(project context menu "Deploy") and is managed by the Team team.
It is not known whether or not this new functionality will become API in
the future.

The target management code was interesting stuff. Will it ever make a
reappearance?

The org.eclipse.core.target and org.eclipse.ant.ui plugins will be removed
starting from this week's M6/F1 build.
The target management code has been listed as interim API now is being
removed.
Functionality provided by the ant ui plugin has been absorbed by the UI
team and is available in the latest builds by the External Tool Script
support.
