It sounds like your registry has been corrupted. You should be able to recover by deleting the ".registry" file in the ".metadata" directory of your workspace.

Hello all,

I have been using eclipse&ant for quite a while now without any problem 
until yesterday. I ran the following command
       <javac srcdir="${build.jspc.dir}" destdir="${build.java.dir}" 
fork="yes" includejavaruntime="yes" memorymaximumsize="512M">
and this stalled eclipse. The number of class to compile is important, 
thus the need to 'fork' and augment the memory size assigned. Eclipse 
would not stop so I had to crash it and when I launched the application 
again nothing was working, complaining that the workspace_loc variable 
was undefined.

Does anyone please know where to set it???
