Hi,

JDT/Core team provides an ant javac adapter to use the Eclipse batch
compiler. In order to support the new <compilerargs> nested element, the
ant adapter won't be able to work anymore with ant 1.4.x. Do you think this
is a problem?
Adding this support could allow PDE/Build to update the autogenerated build
script to match the compiler settings used by the user instead of using
default values. This would ensure that the errors/warnings reported by an
ant build are consistent with the ones within the Eclipse workspace.

Let me know if you have any concern on this.
