Sorry for not replying to this sooner.

1. When I check the profiling checkbox, the object files are generated using the -pg flag, but in the final linking step this flag is omitted.

This should be fixed in the upcoming 8.0 release (Eclipse Juno).  See <https://bugs.eclipse.org/346522>.

 

1. A “make clean” doesn’t delete the executable file. ... Also, the .mod files are not deleted.
