[photran] Monthly PTP User Call May 25, 2011

Photran users may be interested in this month's PTP user call, which
is today at 1pm CDT/2pm EDT.  Call-in information is below.

I will be demonstrating some of the new features in Photran 7,
including refactorings to upgrade Fortran 77 code (e.g., Remove
Old-style Do Loops), loop transformations to improve performance
(e.g., Interchange Loops), code templates, and synchronized remote
projects.

We will start the call with a brief talk on the topic of the month,
this month’s topic is support for FORTRAN with Eclipse Photran.   Then
we’ll open up the call for your questions and discussion – all
questions are welcome, and no experience is necessary to participate
in the call.  We hope to hear from you what is important for you to
accomplish your goals.

And, on our June call on June 22, 2011, we will learn about the
configurable resource managers making their debut as part of PTP 5.0,
released on June 22.

distributions of linux (Fedora Core 12, for instance) may not have
