Of course.  In the project properties, you can turn off
analysis/refactoring altogether (it's off by default in new projects).
 This will disable the indexer and (consequently) the attempts to
synchronize with the editor.  You can also disable content assist, the
Fortran Declaration view, and hover tips individually, but that
probably wouldn't help with this problem.
