so, yes, it is 64 bit VM.

Well, in the end we are still unable to debug. Perhaps de 32 bit versions

The 32 bits version for windows works well even on a Win64 machine, but you have to have the 32 bits JVM, the 32 bits compiler before the 64 bits one and the 32 bits version of eclipse...
However, you will probably not have the possibility to use more than 3 GB of RAM for your data...
