[photran] architecture question

I've been trying to build a component of PTP that relies on Photran  
but have been running into problems. I suspect this is because the  
build server is a Linux/PPC machine. Does anyone know if Photran will  
work on this architecture? If not, would it be possible to add support  
for PPC?
