Re: [photran] problem with photran 4(beta3) on amd64

Aha! You probably need a java from Sun or IBM; the java that comes with
Linux (gcj i think) does not work well with eclipse.

Hi,
enclosed the .log file is attached (i renamed it to log). also this is the
output for checking java:
reza@parsix:~$ java --version
java version "1.5.0"
gij (GNU libgcj) version 4.2.1 (Debian 4.2.1-5)
Hope this can help to find the problem.

  after upgrading my linux distro and using an amd64 version, i want to use
  photran 4 but it fails to come up. after confirming the workspace folder,
  the main window is pop up with 2 errors including:
  Error creating the view.
  org.eclipse.core.runtime.Plugin
  note that i have downloaded the file
  "photran-4.0-beta3-incubation-full-linux-x86_64.gz" so everything should
  be
  included in it.
