g95 is indeed at www.g95.org

it is based on gcc4.

there is another open source Fortran called gfortran that is officially part of gcc.  gfortran replaces g77 in gcc4.

I have only used g95, but I understand that gfortran is a fork of that project that started over some licensing issues (which I think are resolved - as far as end users of g95 go now).  I believe (through second hand opinion) that g95 is more complete than gfortran.
