Re: [photran-dev] Ready for Beta 2? (for real this time)

I've removed x86_64 from the archList so we should be go for a release.

Cheers,

Any objections to releasing HEAD as 3.1 beta 2 on Thursday or Friday?

I sent this in October, but I really mean it this time. Do we want to
release HEAD as 3.1 beta 2 on Thursday or Friday?

The following plug-ins and fragments are set to be included:
- cdtinterface
- core
- core.intel
- errorparsers.xlf
- managedbuilder.core
- managedbuilder.intel.ui
- managedbuilder.ui
- photran.ui

My plan was to use Eclipse 3.2.1 with CDT 3.1.1, requiring Java 1.4.

The number of changes between beta 1 and beta 2 is actually very
significant: many bugs (e.g., #endif) were fixed but never released.
And I'm sure more were introduced as well, since I rewrote the editor
almost entirely a few months ago. :-)

Also...

- Since the XLF and Intel stuff is included in the main Photran release
anyway, can someone remind me what the benefit is of having them in
separate plug-ins? At last count, we have 16 plug-ins and three
features (including the analysis/refactoring system), which seems a bit excessive, considering how little Photran actually does at the moment...

Jeff
