Welcome to the team, Gabe!
While we wait for the rest of the committership workflow to resume, I'd
like to invite you to:
a) subscribe to the phoenix-dev mailing list
https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/phoenix-dev
b) familiarize yourself with our modest documentation
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Phoenix_Documentation
c) most importantly, familiarize yourself with our simple yet
effective guidelines
http://www.eclipse.org/phoenix/development.php
In essence, all work on the website is typically committed 'live' to
www.eclipse.org (via /cvsroot/org.eclipse/www) except the
eclipse.org-common directory, because of its potential to break the
entire site. Nathan and I typically commit to the Phoenix sandbox
(/cvsroot/technology/org.eclipse.phoenix) which publishes to
http://phoenix.eclipse.org and test there first. We do require a
certain amount of peer review before committing, but all that is
explained in the guidelines above.
As per the election notice, I think Karl and yourself are the best
candidates to assume ownership of the /projects section of the website.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask!
Denis
