[phoenix-dev] EPIC: a new component of Phoenix

Greetings,
The Phoenix project will be introducing a new component shortly: EPIC
The Eclipse Plug-in central (EPIC) is a convenient, information-rich
portal that helps software developers find open source and commercial
Eclipse plug-ins, tools, and products that enhance the entire software
development life-cycle. The portal supports dynamic user interaction
through forums and a plugin rating system, providing added value to the
entire community. It will be accessible at
http://www.eclipseplugincentral.com/ .
The EPIC component has been contributed by Instantiations, Genuitec and
Innoopract, and these three companies have been running the EPIC portal
since 2004. A set of initial committers and an initial contribution will
kickstart the new component. EPIC will operate under the auspices of the
Phoenix project and the Technology PMC.
