[phoenix-dev] Progress ... Testing ... Release ... Call

We're making great progress on Phoenix!

- Data-driven news and articles pages

- The home page looks quite nifty

- Community, Projects and About Us are generally moved over

- A few visual glitches have been fixed


I have tested the new site against the following:

(800 X 600) (1024 X 768) (1152 X 864) (1280X1024)
- MSIE 6.0 (Win32)
- FireFox (Win32, X11)
- Opera 8.5 (Win32, X11)
- Lynx and elinks text-based browsers (80 cpl)

At 800x600 all browsers allow a font size one setting above default 
before screwing up (except MSIE) and at 1024x768 all browsers accept a 
font size two settings above default before screwing up.  We would need 
to test the page on a Mac OS X machine.


RC2 is next Monday, and Release 1.0 is coming up ... Wednesday.  I'm 
scheduling a call for Monday at 2:00pm Eastern, so we can catch up and 
determine what is ready to be moved over Wednesday, and how we'll go 
about doing that.
