Susan, sure!!

A developers section on that portal would be very interesting for the
developer community.

There is something similar in http://www.planet-eclipse.org (even Ed
Burnette or Mike Milinkovich have a feed there). Maybe one option would
be
to syndicate that RSS source under the phoenix portal in a 'developer
community news' section.
