Re: [pdt-dev] Switching PDT to Type A IP Reviews

Dawid, Thierry,

Thank you for your responses. In Zend / Rogue Wave we don't see any issue too.
I will let the Eclipse IP team know that we are OK with Type A reviews for PHP and its dependencies.

As I see Type A can by for third-party only. Our code will be still reviewed as Type B.

From user point of view nothing changed, if adopters can live with Type A , +1 from me ;)

Subject:Â [pdt-dev] Switching PDT to Type A IP Reviews

Hi Team,

I'd like to suggest switching PDT to the new Type A IP Reviews (License Check Only) instead of the current default Type B (License Compatibility, Provenance Check, Code Scanned for Anomalies).

This will significantly simplify and speed up the process of reviewing CQs for 3rd party dependencies. For example, I need to submit a lot of CQs for the dependencies that needs to be distributed with the built-in PHP [1]. For details, please look at this CQ comment [2].

Does anyone see any issue about this?
