[pdt-dev] Content assist on DateTime

Hi guys,

I experience weird behaviour with content assist on DateTime objects.

$startDate = DateTime::createFromFormat('Y-m-d, $myDate);

               ^^^^^^^^   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ content assist work here

$startDate->format();

              ^^^^^^ content assist do not work here

Project PHP Interpreter is set to PHP 5.4. DateTime::createFromFormat was introduced in 5.3

I tested with PHP Interpreter 5.5 and 7 but none is working.

Eclipse mars 4.5.2 & PDT 3.7.0.201602121754

To my opinion PHPDoc of the createFromFormat prototype is missing @return statement :

/**

       * Returns new DateTime object formatted according to the specified format

       * @link http://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.createfromformat.php

       * @param $format

       * @param $time

       * @param $object [optional]

       */

       public static function createFromFormat ($format, $time, $object = null) {}

Should I file a bug report somewhere ?

Regards
