[pde-ui-dev] PDE 3.0M6, compatibility broken with 2.1 and 3.0M5

Hi all,
with 3.0M6 there is the big problem, for me at least, that any plugin 
installed in extension locations cannot any longer be used with PDE.
There's a bug about this problem, 
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=49279, on which i have 
added some details, opened on 2003-12-22.
I guess it should have been opened against pde-ui component, and this 
may be the reason why it didn't get yet any reply.
Pls take a few moments to have a look to it and just tell me if it's 
just a bug, so i  can patiently seat and wait for a solution, or a 
wanted development decision to exclude from PDE any plugin not installed 
in eclipse plugins directory, so i can start to tear my hairs and 
complain ;)
