The best place to look would be JDT Developers Guide (reference section).
They list all the extension points for JDT UI. You can also try the object
contribution for the org.eclipse.ui.popupMenu extension point (platform
UI). You can also ask on the jdt-ui-dev mailing list because this is a
topic that is related to JDT component.

Hi,
I would like to write a plug in to be shown in the pop up menu in the
"Outline" view of a method.
What is the extension point for that. If anyone has done something similar
just pass on the plugin.xml .
Or if I can look at any existing plug in let me know about which plugin is
that.
Mean time I am also searching the documentation for that.
